Welcome to The Poipu Penthouse: a rare top-floor residence at the Prince Kuhio Condominiums and one of only two penthouse units in the entire complex. Villa 402 offers a truly unique stay in Poipu, featuring one of the largest lanais in the area located just outside the unit, where you can take in sweeping ocean and mountain views.
This north-facing penthouse looks out toward the mountains with ocean views to its sides, creating a peaceful and scenic setting throughout the day. Inside, the open layout is surrounded by windows that capture approximately 180-degree views of the ocean and mountains, filling the space with natural light and island beauty. The condo features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, comfortable living and dining areas, two bedrooms; one king bed and one queen. Along with one full bathroom that includes a walk-in shower (no tub). An in-unit washer and dryer is also provided for convenience.
While the Poipu Penthouse does not have central or split air conditioning, two portable AC units are available. Thanks to its top floor location, the condo often stays naturally breezy when the trade winds are flowing simply by opening the windows.
Prince Kuhio Condominiums is set in one of Poipu's most scenic locations. Just across the street is the ocean where you can watch waves roll in, spot sea turtles, and enjoy both sunrise and sunset views steps from the property. Lawai Beach, known for snorkeling, is just a short walk away, along with several popular surf breaks and Baby Beach, which offers calmer waters. The complex also sits beside Prince Kuhio Park, adding to the open and tranquil feel of the area. Directly across the street is the iconic Beach House Restaurant, one of Poipu's most celebrated oceanfront dining destinations, and nearby you'll find Longs Drugs for everyday essentials along with shopping and dining at The Shops at Kukuiula just a short drive away.
During your stay, you'll have full access to the community swimming pool (open until sunset), tropical garden areas, and BBQ space.
* Please note that Prince Kuhio Condominiums does not have elevators and the penthouse is located three flights up.
*An exterior Ring camera is installed near the stairwell entrance for security and will make announcements if motion is detected.
*Free parking is available. No parties, no pets, and no smoking are permitted.

This place is fantastic!!
by ReedThis place is fantastic!! A very private area on the island and you can see the ocean and beach from all areas of the house. It was very clean and comfy. It is on the fourth floor and the complex does not have an elevator so if you struggle with stairs or carrying your luggage, keep this in mind. Once you are up there it is very private, the last set of stairs is for this place only, no one else uses that particular set of stairs so you don't have to worry about people passing by. We kept the blinds up the entire time as very few people have access to see into this place. Hiroki is a fantastic host, great communication, detailed check-in instructions with pictures and how to get a parking pass (very easy to do). Checked with us during our stay to make sure things were perfect. He has a few other places on the island and he is great with all of them. The lanai on this property is huge, with how private it is, you can sit out looking at the ocean getting some sun in peace.
Beautiful Condo
by CassieWe had the best time at this beautiful condo. The penthouse was very spacious and clean, the linens and towels were high quality, couch, pillows and beds were super comfortable. We loved walking to baby beach and around tide pools and playing in the water in front of the beach house restaurant. The sweeping views, sunrises and sunsets all visible from the deck (and even from inside the condo) were breathtaking. Super close to the shops at kukui’ula for fun shopping and dining, 5 minute drive to watch the sea turtles at poipu beach, 5-7 minute drive to the food trucks and shops at old Kōloa. So fun and so great! Hiroki was a wonderful, kind and helpful host. We hope we can go back again!
